A quick summary - I’m old enough to know better, and old enough not to care.

I’m a 30-something female so very much not a child. She/Her is fine and I’m from the UK - I’m not ignoring your message, my timeline is probably backwards to yours!

I am very much a mama bear and pretty protective of people in general, as well as those I care about.

Always willing to be a listening ear, will give the best advice I can if it’s wanted and I like to think that I’m a pretty… Safe? human being. I’m not gonna judge you (unless it’s illegal, but I’ve never run into anyone who likes that kinda shit) and chances are I’ll just want to protect you.

And so it begins! Again! Another Camp NaNoWriMo month.
I haven’t had the drive or the time, really, to sit and do some planning for what I thought I wanted to write, so I’m just gonna plod along until I have some time to do that.

Trying a new top stats section this time.

So the first is my daily goal - 800 words a day. The second is the word count goal I should be on - that’ll increase in 800s. (So Day 10 will be 8,000 words for example. Day 2 will be 1,600 words.) The third is obviously how far though the total goal I am (800 x 31 is 24,800 words.)

Hopefully that’ll make these posts shorter on the dashboard and take me less time to format/do every night. We’ll see how it goes.

Yup. I’m pretty happy with that. I’ve had some really good days, thanks to my wife letting me write almost entire one shots in her inbox XD

~ brainstorming a lil exchange student clothes swap scenario

July Plans!
Okay before I start this, one of my June plans, aside from my daily words, was to finish and post something. I did that AND as an extra bonus, those pieces were wonderfully gay. Shelly is pleased.

Anyway. July is a Camp NaNoWriMo month, so my daily word count goal is more than likely going to be a bit more than normal.

I think my only July goal is going to be to hit my word count every day. Even though, at the time of writing this, I haven’t decided what that goal is going to be. It might just be 700 a day again, like I normally do for Camps now. Like, it’s a lil extra than normal because I wanna push myself but I don’t want to stress myself. It might be 800, actually. 31 x 800 is 24,800 and that’s close to half of NaNoWriMo. AND we all know I’ll probably go over that main goal anyway because I normally do. I’m not sure, I’ll sleep on it.

30th June - 527 words.

She smiled, she couldn’t help it when he grinned at her like that. “Maybe.”

Man, today’s been long. A little rough.

Work, grocery shopping, dinner, curled up with my lil ikea shark for a few hours because I felt kinda miserable.

I have a tiny lil ulcer thing on my tongue and it hurts. And yet I can’t stop myself doing the thing that created it and I’m mad at myself for it. I think that action that caused it is loosely linked to stress now and I hate that too, because not only does this action cause the lil ulcer thing, it leaves me with an achy jaw. I hate this. I never used to have these issues.

Uh, I still need to do some planning and setting up for July’s Camp NaNoWriMo, though with the way I’ve been feeling this week, the planning might have to go out of the window and I’ll just… Write what comes to mind. I did have a plan, but if my mood doesn’t improve I probably won’t be happy with what I write for it, and it’s one of those… Core events that I want to be happy with.

Oh, and I need to do a June Wrap Up post. That’s coming.

29th June - 558 words.

Frank was still the first one to see her that day, wandering into the kitchen to find her washing the dishes they’d left the night before. The sight makes him wince with guilt - he’d actually been hoping to get to them first.

This is -really- late today. I’ve essentially been sitting with my brain doing that buffering icon all evening and I don’t know why.

I think I’m just feeling a little down at the moment.
